Twister Game

As popular today as it was when it was introduced in the nineteen sixties, the twister game is great fun and entertainment for family and friends alike.

A real interactive game where physical agility helps players to succeed, the game is played usually on a large plastic mat which has four rows of red, yellow, blue and green colored circles, with each color forming a line of six circles.

These four lines or twenty four circles run adjacent on the mat and this makes up the game playing area.
Also needed for the twister game is a spinning board, this is a board with a spinnable pointer in the middle, the outer part of the board is split into four sections, one represents a right hand, one a left hand, one a right foot and the last represents a left foot.
Each of these four sections then contain one of each of the four colored circles. To play the twister game, the players decide on one person who will spin the spinning board, please note that the person spinning the board does not take part in the actual game.

This person then spins the spinner and the pointer will come to rest in one of the four sections and also on one of the colored circles within that section. This will specify for the players involved in the twister game which hand or foot they need to place onto which colored circle, for example the pointer may stop at the left foot section on a blue circle, which indicates that the players have to place their left foot onto a blue circle on the playing mat. The twister game continues with further spins, with the players having to respond to what the pointer indicates each time, perhaps having to put their right hand on a red circle followed by their left leg onto a green circle. The different combinations make for a very interesting and fun pass time.
